This Aim adaptor has been designed to supply RPM signals to an Aim EVO4 data logger on vehicles without an ECU. It connects to the coil and filters the signal, reducing noise and generating the correct square compatible with the EVO4 logger.

Connecting The RPM Coil Adaptor

Connect the cable that ends with a five-pin binder 712 male connectors to RPM input of EVO4
Connect the black cable labelled GND to vehicle reference ground
Connect the red cable labelled 9-15 VDC to a switched 12V power supply
Connect the white cable labelled RPM 150-450V to the coil earth trigger
The yellow cable labelled DIGIT OUT is EVO4 digital output
